Summer camp date change

The date for the Summer Camp in Ballinderry has been changed to the 6th-8th May. More details will be given at the next meeting on Wednesday.

Hi all,

Tonight we played a game of snatch the rasher. Cormac and Ryan then took the cubs doing the Chief Scout award up to the attic to work on finishing the last bits of the badge work. Aifric took the new cubs and went through all of the stuff that they’d need to know before they’re invested. Cian and Adrienne went through campfire safety with the rest of the cubs. We discussed the Summer camp in Ballinderry and finished off the night with a quick game of Land, Sea,  Air.

The Summer camp is going to be another great weekend in Ballinderry for another, “cub in the pub”. The camp will be on the 6th-7th May. For those who haven’t been to Ballinderry before, it’s a converted pub near Terryglass, on the Shannon. The cost of the camp will be €40.00. As the journey is about two hours, we hope to arrange it that parents would either drop children down on Friday evening, or collect on Sunday, but not have to do both. If you could give either a lift there or a lift back could you please state on the notes that went home tonight how many you can take. If you have any other question please ask any of the leaders.
