Wednesday 26th November

Hi all,

Tonight we collected our Subs, 12 days of Christmas money (these must be in next week) and out membership forms.

We did a review of our Six pages, still waiting on some photos and pictures to really make these pages shine.

We completed our work for investiture, the only thing remaining is our good deeds.
Thanks to Cormac for leading the new Cubs through the investiture journey.

We discussed the Special Interest Badges, to receive them on the 17th we must have the work completed and presented to the Leaders on the 10th.

Rory took all our kneckers in a once off offer to get them ironed.
There is a very specific way to iron them so we’ll all look very smart for the investiture.

We finished with Grand Howl and headed off

Note to all Parents

Hi all,

Dropping your Cubs off – Please ensure that Karen, Rory or Adrienne are in the den before you head off. We do share the den with a large number of others and at times other groups. Do not assume that just because the door is open and the lights are on that your Leaders are there.

Collecting your Cubs – Please come to the gate and collect your Cubs. There is always one Leader at the gate, but there is a large number of kids coming and going and a large volume of traffic. It’s now dark when collecting so please take extra care.

We the Leaders always have your Cubs safety at the forefront of everything we do but we do need your help with this.

Wednesday 19th November

Hi all,

This week we discussed both our Special Interest badges and Investiture.
Both are on track to complete before Christmas and a lot of great work has been done.

We did some basic footdrill, learning to stand at alert, at ease and easy.

Adrienne had some old kneckers which were from special events, jamborees, etc. We even saw some from America.

We finished with Grand Howl and went home

Hi all,

Tonight we discussed Investiture.
We have a lot of new Cubs and we’re working towards getting them all invested before Christmas. Cormac and Matthew took the group through what they need to be invested.

We worked on our Special Interest badges which we are aiming to complete by Christmas.

We got our membership forms which must be completed in full and given back asap.

Any outstanding Subs must be given in as well.

All 12 Days of Christmas must be back no later than the 10th Dec.

We played Land, Sea and Air which was won by Ross.

We did Grand Howl and headed off into the night.

We had a chat about what we dressed up as for Halloween, some great ideas for costumes.

After that we discussed our Special Interest badges which we’re going to work on from now until Christmas. We had baking, photography, sports and reading.

We finished with a game of groups.

Don’t forget to get out and sell your 12 Days of Christmas Tickets.
