Hi all,

Our last night before the summer break and what a night it was.
Once again we were blessed with the weather and had a lovely summers evening spent on the water.
27 Cubs out on the water having a fantastic time and more importantly 27 Cubs back in off the water safely.

Rory got presented with his Woodbeads (“,)

So that’s all folks we’ll be back in September the Wednesday after everyone goes back to school. Please keep checking the website for confirmed date.

On the water Wednesday 18th

Hi all,

MAKE SURE ALL CUBS HAVE PLENTY OF SUNSCREEN ON.
THE SUN WILL REFLECT OFF THE WATER.

We are on the water Wednesday 18th.
Please be at the den at 6.30pm sharp to get out as early as possible.

As always please make sure you have towels, change of clothes, change of foot wear with you.

Could we ask that all parents please hang on after we’re finished (8pm) for a quick end of year wrap up?

Wednesday 11th June

Hi all,

Last night we had our end of year disco.
Beats were dropped, popcorn and biccies eaten and fizzy pop drank.
A great night was had and a super way to sign off the year.

Thanks to Cormac, Laura and Pierce for organising the lights and music, a huge amount of work was done to set this up.

Finally we said farewell (not goodbye) to Fiona who is taking a well deserved break as a Leader.
She will be really missed by Cubs and Leaders alike but we hope she pops in to see us from time to time.

Wednesday 4th June

This week we mastered falling in two and three deep. This is no easy task and the Cubs really excelled themselves. They were so good we demonstrated the footdrill to Ciaran from Tuesday Cubs and to Roisin and Sean from this years Colour Party.
Mistakes that Scouts and Leaders have made were not in evidence.
We just need a little more practice until we have it perfect.

We played the snowball game which seemed to involve hitting poor Fiona as often as possible.

After this we drew up our new Sixes and we had a couple of promotions.

Congratulations to Leo who became a Seconder

Our new Sixes are Bear, Wolf, Lion, Puma and Falcon
