What a great start to our summer. On a lovely bright and warm evening we met at The Boathouse and made for the cliff walk.
A nice little hike with plenty to see and learn.
Brian told us of the history of the railway running alongside us, from the building of it and showing us the railway builders hut to a terrible crash.
We say some dynamite holes in the rocks where they were drilled out and dynamite place in them to blow away the rock to make way for the track.
We were shown loads of different types of birds and with the help of some binoculars we got some lovely views of them and their surroundings.
We were joined by some Mums and Dads which is always nice to see and they were very well behaved (“,)
A huge thanks to Brian who led the walk for us and provided a great commentary along the way.
