Hi all,
As always we did the roll and collected the subs.
We congratulated Cormac who was promoted to Watch Leader in Thursday night Scouts.
We played Land, Sea and Air to warm us up.
Due to a heavy snowfall we played snowballs (“,)
To do this we had to make the snowballs first, some were big, some were small , some, well probably best left unsaid.
After we finished and some of the snowballs had somehow melted we did Grand Howl and went home

Hi all,
Tonight we collected our Subs and money for Belfast as usual.
We did an inspection and the kneckerhiefs looked really well.
Thanks to all the Cubs (and Mams and Dads) for getting them ironed.
We played snatch the rasher.
We then planted some bulbs to give as gifts at Christmas.
Each Cubs was given a flower pot and we wrote our name on the bottom.
We filled the pot with compost and then planted the bulbs.
After we watered them we left them upstairs in the Den.
We’ll check them each week to see them progress.
We’ll be decorating them in the next couple of weeks.
Don’t forget to get out and sell those 12 Days of Christmas tickets.
They have to be back in a couple of weeks.
All the money raised from the sale of the tickets goes back to the Group.
We did Grand Howl and went home.

Hi all,
Our Kneckerchiefs are what mark us as 5th Wicklow Sea Scouts.
No other Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers or Leaders in the world have the same kneckerchiefs as us.
So please make sure they are ironed and folded properly from next week.

Hi all,
You should now have received your book of tickets, if not please ask one of the Leaders.
All the money made from selling the tickets goes back into the group.
Please make sure you return all the money and the ticket books even if you haven’t sold all the tickets. If you sell your book and want a second (or third) just ask one of your Leaders.

Hi all
This week we started with the shoe game, all our shoes were put in a pile in the middle of the room and the first Six with their shoes back on and standing at alert would be the winners. Cillian’s Six won so well done guys.
It has to be said that while it’s a great game it’s also a bit smelly (“,)
We did an inspection and the kneckerchief aren’t looking too well.
Next week please make sure that they are ironed and folded neatly and you have a woggle.
We then did the Map game, we were given a piece of graph paper with a starting point marked on it.
After taking directions of “6 squares East, 4 squares North West and so on” from Fiona we ended up with a picture of a sail boat.
Finally we played Arches.
Next week we’ll be planting bulbs.
We did Grand Howl and went home.

Hi all
This week we were back with a bang after a break for Halloween.
We went around the pack and told everyone what costumes we wore when trick or treating. A couple of great costumes, Dorothy, Zombies, Dead Brides, Lego.
We also called out if we got something strange in our bags and Harry was the hands down winner getting Pineapple chunks, so avoid Harry’s road next year.
We then did the letters game and no one managed to name a food beginning with Z until last night when Rory came up with Zucchini (only a week late)
We were given our 12 Days of Christmas tickets.
Remember ALL the money from the tickets sold goes straight back to the group.
A prize for whoever sells the most tickets will be awarded.
We did Grand Howl and went home.
